What I Like?

This bat too has a lightweight swing which makes it perfect even for the smaller players to get good shots.

The 2023 Marucci CATX Composite is known to produce great exit velocities on hitting the ball. 

There is more barrel flex due to ring-free construction permits which ensures consistency in the performance. Therefore, the performance improves with zero to minimum ‘dead spots.

Lastly, if you do not consider the paint, the bat has overall good consistency. 

What I don't like?

The performance is great, for sure. However, the feel of the bat is not as good as the Louisville Meta which comes within the same price. Considering that, the price of this bat must have been lower.

Apart from that, the CATX series does not have any major durability issues other than the paint chipping, which is something people are facing this year.

What I Like?

What I Like?

If you are looking for a premium LS Pro comfort group with added track and buffer to improve the control of the bat then this Louisville Slugger Select PWR is your bat.

It also makes you feel the strike while hitting across the strike zone. The barrel with EDX premium alloy is considerably longer than other BBCOR models. It provides the player exceptionally responsive and larger sweet spot.

Since DeMarini is not releasing its ‘The Goods’ in the BBCOR line-up this year and last year's The Goods had some serious durability issues, we believe that the Slugger Select PWR is the best BBCOR bat for power hitters.

The bat truly deserves the top spot for its unbeatable performance and top-notch durability. 

What I don't like?

The bat is end-loaded and therefore, more suitable for big players looking to hit big shots. Younger players on the contrary find it difficult to get through the strike zone with the Slugger Select PWR.

What I Like?

The 2023 Marucci CATX Connect is the perfect two-piece hybrid version of the CATX.

It is a super lightweight bat for its type of bat. You might like the pleasing sound it makes on hitting the ball but will surely love the comfortable feel it gives.

This makes it one of the most likeable bats. Moreover, this two-piece hybrid is only 20 USD costlier than the one-piece hybrid of the same line making it the closest price margin between a two-piece and one-piece bat.

The bat also has an S-40 composite handle giving it a great grip and maximum energy transfer upon hitting the ball. 

What I don't like?

Well, the chipping paint is the only issue with the bat which is otherwise a 10/10.

What I Like?

For excellent swing speed and some of the highest exit velocities possible choose the 2023 Louisville Slugger Atlas baseball bat. The bat allows maximum barrel control with its exceptionally balanced swing speed.

Be it versatile hitters or contact hitters, whoever wants a one-piece bat, Louisville Slugger Atlas is your go-to option.

The Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) in the bat absorbs vibrations giving an exceptional feel at each swing regardless of the area of contact. 

Also, the large sweet spot of the bat makes it a top-choice model. Compared to CATX one piece, its swing weight is slightly on the higher side.

What I Like?

One of the greatest additions to the one-piece Marucci CAT X this year is a liquid-gel dampening knob. The patented liquid gel technology gives a softer in hand fell while swinging and reduces vibrations very efficiently.

It feels great in hand along with the ring-free barrel construction of this bat which also provides an increased barrel flex. It is also responsible for improved performance of the bat with minimum or no dead spots.

Moreover, the precision balanced barrel reduces the M.O.I. for control and precision. The thin handle of the 2023 Marucci CATX baseball bat on top of that provides enhanced bottom-hand control for efficient performance.

These amazing features when compared with the Atlas we found out that Atlas performs better but if you are looking for in-hand-feel and swing weight, it is better to choose CAT X.

What I don't like?

One major drawback of the Marucci CATX baseball bat is its price. It costs more than other one-piece bats such as the 2023 Louisville Slugger Atlas that are in the market. If your budget is on the higher end, you can go for this bat.

What I Like?

This one-piece bat was launched after two years of its last version. As for the features in the new bat, the 2023 Easton Maxum Ultra has a large sweet spot providing an ethereal combination of power and speed.

This version of the bat also gives you an amazing combo of tack and cushion with its flow-tack grip.

What’s even more lovable is the seamless Carbon concentration of the bat that gives you a stiff composite bat feel.

Lastly, given its performance, this BBCOR baseball bat deserved to be on the list for the best. 

What I don't like?

The bat was released quite late and due to this, we are not quite sure of the durability yet. But if you consider the previous models of the series, this version ought to be great too.

What I Like?

If you want to flaunt your bat confidently among the team, the 2023 Easton Black Magic BBCOR is the bat for you.

It comes with an incredibly lightweight body, is easy to swing and yes, is one of the coolest-looking bats. No wonder hitters love it. 

The bat also has a combination of Fly Wall barrel design and R5 alloy which produces a pleasant hitting sound on the strike.

You might not agree but it does boost the confidence of the player when hitting across the strike zone. 

Black Magic is similar to the 2023 Alpha ALX and even comes within the same price range. However, when there is a choice between the two, we would suggest you go with the former. The bat has got style. 

What I don't like?

Believe it or not, the bat has amazing feedback on the Manufacturer's website and a five-star rating on Amazon.

Hence, there aren’t any reasonable cons to consider. The 2023 Easton Black Magic BBCOR delivered exactly what it should have.
